WriteSonic - An AI Writing Tool - Full Review- 2023

Updated: Apr 6, 2023

So, as of recently, AI has really been revolutionizing the productivity landscape. WriteSonic is a tool that does just that. It improves productivity for writers. Today, we will be taking a deep dive into it and deciding whether or not it is worth spending your precious time and money. Welcome to the WriteSonic review.

What is WriteSonic?

At its core, WriteSonic is an AI-powered writing tool that enables authors to produce more accurate and interesting material more quickly.

Every device with an internet connection can access this cloud-based service.

Writers can create, evaluate, and polish their material on one platform using WriteSonic.

Also, it offers writers immediate feedback on their writing, which may help them create better content.

Both students and those who are just beginning their writing careers as well as seasoned authors and content producers can utilize WriteSonic.

It offers customers a potent set of tools that will enable them to produce better content more quickly.

WriteSonic can assist you in streamlining your writing process and creating content, whether you are an experienced writer or a novice.

UI

WriteSonic has a nice modern UI. It is easy to use and neatly sorts all of its features. The only real drawback is that sometimes, the website takes some time to load when switching pages. In the library section, you will find a gallery of WriteSonic's writing modes neatly categorized. This includes paragraph writing, blog posts, ad writing, and more. There are a couple of flaws here and there in the UI but overall, WriteSonic has an amazing UI that presents its features neatly.

Writing Features

As listed above, WriteSonic includes a variety of different features. When you use a feature, you are given a questionnaire on what exactly you want it to be about. For example, if it is the Social Media Content Plan, it will ask you what you want to advertise. I am not going to go through all of them since there are just so many but here is a list of a few:

- Paragraph Writer

- AI Article Ideas

- AI Article Writer

- Facebook Ads

- Google Ad Titles

- Google Ad description

- Quora Answers

- Product Descriptions

- Company Bios

- Landing Pages

- Seo Meta Tags

Is the Writing Good Though?

Like most AI tools these days, WriteSonic never ceases to amaze me. The platform actually has four different quality modes that are available. Economy, Average, Good, and Premium. I would confidently use the Good and Premium outputs in any of my writings. The Average and Economy outputs are probably not worth it because most people can easily match the same quality if they were to do it manually. Now keep in mind that these output qualities cost different amounts with Premium being the most expensive and economy being the cheapest. For that, I would probably choose Good because you get the most bang for the buck. I asked it to write me a Facebook ad on itself. Here are the different outputs:

Economy:
Average:
Good:
Premium:

Pricing

WriteSonic's pricing is quite interesting and honestly kind of confusing to an extent. Its free edition allows you to generate up to 2,500 premium words. Every time you generate a piece of writing you use up a certain amount of words.

Its premium edition is called Long-Form. If you take the annual plan, you can pay anywhere between $13 and $1749 per month. Which gives you access to 19k and 5.75 million premium words respectively. Additionally, the Long-Form plan gives you access to premium features like bulk upload. Lastly, there is also a custom plan for teams and businesses. Personally, I think that this pricing is very fair and you are getting value for what you pay.

Other Features

Not only does WriteSonic contain features for writing, but also a version of Dall-E and ChatGPT built into it.

WriteSonic Modes

Let's first talk about its ChatGPT. They call it ChatSonic. It pretty much has the same features as ChatGPT as well. The difference is that ChatSonic has different personality modes for itself. If you want ChatGPT to be a comedian just click the option. Do you want it to be your motivational coach, you got it. A full list of its different personalities is listed on the left. This feature does sound really useful at first until you realize that you do the same with ChatGPT. You just need to tell it to be a comedian or your motivational trainer rather than choosing an option.

But is the chatbot good though? The truth is, it pretty much spits out the same answer as ChatGPT. So your probably just better off using ChatGPT instead.

Another feature that WriteSonic has is Photosonic. It's basically just a clone of Dall-E. There really isn't much of a difference so I'm not going to talk too much about it.

Lastly, there is the bulk upload feature which requires the premium version. What this does is that it allows you to generate thousands of writings (this can include copy, articles, papers, etc., basically any of the writing features listed above) at a time.

Conclusion

Writesonic is a great tool that is worth checking out for any kind of writer or anyone who has writing as part of their work. Writesonic can truly kindle your productivity for a reasonable price.
